SODEXT proposes a cutting edge business approach - yet simple - in trading goods and commodities. Our goal is to ensure that the soil is prepared for each seed to unleash its full potential, not a single grain from crops is wasted, not a single truck is unnecessarily parked and information is instantly available for all actors involved. Our mission is to sustain and improve the current production, and turn waste into profit for farmers, traders and transporters of goods and commodities.
Where are we coming from?
SODEXT was founded after years of tedious works that lead to understanding problems related to market dynamics in developing countries. It was obvious that those involved in producing, trading and logistics operations shared common problems such as an unpredictability of market prices and the absence of critical market information. It's to bridge these gaps thru modern means while adapting state of the art technologies from industrialized countries (Specifically the U.S.) to the local realities that SODEXT was founded. Ultimately, SODEXT works towards bringing stability in the market while reducing the scarcity and waste by assisting farmers in increasing their production in order to meet the market demand.
Farmers will now have access to high quality of seeds and Fertilizers at very competitive prices. They will know locations where their crops are in high demand. Today, we have created an environment where farmers can excel by becoming experts in their fields instead of carrying the burden of distraction by looking for transporters or negotiating prices with potential customers. The alternation of seasons, which heavily influenced low productivity as well, is no longer a major concern with SODEXT business approach.
It's our assumption that buying trucks and filling them with gas is a financial investment and that the smallest portion (ranging from time, money and each drop of gas) MUST yield a high profit margin possible. Unfortunately, the reality reveals that trucks are forced to stay in parking lots due to the scarcity of customers or at best, travel one way fully loaded while returning empty. Sodext has a wide network of both national and international customers that will keep its network of truckers productive all year long, delivering merchandise in all major regions of the country and abroad.
